I highly recommend this salon. It was my first time and they were friendly caring Amy made me feel welcomed and we instantly connected and I felt like I made a new life long friend not just a new hair stylist. I spent about 200$ without tip for a cut a style a scalp detox and I was informed of what each step and product were so when I go home I have more awareness of how to apply these steps to myself

I just had my second hair cut at Ambushed Salon and Abby was my stylist. The dry cut is new to me and I couldn't be happier with the results. I was looking for something different and Abby did an excellent job. I highly recommend Ambushed to curly girls out there. The stylists have curly hair and they certainly understand that we are different. They also recommend the Innersense hair products and my hair has never been this easy to manage. E Thomas

Lovely ambience in the salon and impeccable service. Abby is a genius with my curls! I have naturally gray hair and am just growing my hair out again after an illness. Abby does beautiful cuts and is extremely knowledgeable about how to style those temperamental curls … especially for a no-fuss person like me. Love it.

So I come from Brazil, and I’m here for a little more than a year. I was struggling to find curls professionals since I know that our type of hair need someone who actually knows how they work. I’m so glad I found Ambushed Salon by chance. I was driving home back from work and looked around and saw my sign: “a curly hair salon”. I couldn’t believe my eyes, really. Then I went through their website, which is pretty up to date, organized, easy to see and look for what you need, then looked at the reviews. Is not like I’m way too attached to my hair but you don’t want to just be taking your chances like that. I felt very comfortable in scheduling and for my bigger luck, I found a space on a Saturday, which is so nice for who has a busy work week schedule! First of all, I felt welcomed when I got there. Plenty of places to sit and just relax. I could really start feeling it was my me time finally happening! Not to mention the decor is so nice! Such nice taste! And then I met Amy. A very solid, professional and experienced woman who made me feel very secure, seen, and heard by just having a conversation. We went through my relation with my hair, what I was looking for, what were my struggles. And she was there for me. Throughout the whole cutting process, she was telling me what she was doing. I was completely safe in her hands (and scissors!) and very, very eager to see how my hair would look like after she operated her magic. She washed my hair with the most amazing products that smelled very nice and made my hair look and feel different just during the washing process. Not to mention that staying there waiting for the product to act is already a therapy session! Chair is super comfortable and the ambience as well. Then, well. What can I say. My self esteem was recovered. I felt beautiful and amazing and also empowered, by Amy, to take care of myself without having rely on her every other month. I can’t wait to be back just to revive the curls with Amy’s magic hands and to be a little with her amazing, amazing staff and co workers. What a place to spend some hours taking time for yourself. I won’t stop recommending!
